The 55 gallon gray steel open head drum is a strong, rigid steel container suited to solvents, coatings, chemicals, and other industrial liquids. The open head style takes a removable cover, which makes filling easy and suits viscous products. Like all steel packaging, it can be reconditioned and recycled.
The phenolic lining adds chemical resistance and helps inhibit rust. It is UN rated 1A2/Y1.6/150, certified packaging for hazardous material shipping, and the full rating is marked on the container.
