5 Gallon Gray Steel Open Head Steel Pail, Phenolic Lined, UN Rated, 3" Double Bead

Our Un Rated 5-gallon gray open head steel pail tapered body design allows pails to be nested for optimal storage space. This pail is 26 gauge from top to bottom and has a 3" double bead. Our strong wire bail handle with a plastic grip provides the confidence for easy handling and pouring. With Triplex®, a triple seam, compound curl, and improved weld seam, allows for the highest valid UN rating available. Lug covers must be sealed with a lug-closing tool.

While the 5-gallon gray open head pail does not come with a closure, its open head feature allows for a level of customization to suit your industrial needs. Pipeline Packaging offers a wide variety of closures for steel pails depending on the level of accessibility you require, including lug covers and ring seal covers.

The Epoxy Phenolic lining has excellent resistance to alkaline products. This lining provides outstanding chemical resistance for products with a pH range of 7.0–9.0. Used with products like alkaline, fatty acids, detergents, emulsions, foods, general organic chemicals, surfactants, and water-based resins including hazardous materials.
