Our 5 Gallon Black Tight Head Steel Pail has the highest UN-Rating available with its closed head and rust inhibitor lining. The included dust cap keeps the opening free of contaminants before filling. Its stackable design is optimal for storage and transportation. A strong galvanized handle allows for durability for the life of the steel pail.
The Triplex Technology® gives the top and bottom seams a stronger, safer triple-seam. This seam has 7 layers of steel versus 5 layers by adding 2 additional wraps of steel. With the use of a new computer-controlled feedback loop welder, the Triplex® weld seam is smoother for a superior exterior look and reduces sharp burrs of the interior lining.
The rust inhibitor lining slows down the formation of rust, not intended to act as a protective lining. Tight Head Steel Pails are used for chemicals, paintings and coatings, adhesives, lubricants, sealers, construction materials, and oils.
