5 Gallon Black Steel Tight Head Pail, Rust Inhibited Lining, Rieke Prep, UN-Rated

Our 5 Gallon Black Tight Head Steel Pail has the highest UN-Rating available with its closed head and rust inhibitor lining. Its stackable design is optimal for storage and transportation. A strong galvanized handle allows for durability for the life of the steel pail.

The Triplex Technology® gives the top and bottom seams a stronger, safer triple-seam. This seam has 7 layers of steel versus 5 layers by adding 2 additional wraps of steel. With the use of a new computer-controlled feedback loop welder, the Triplex® weld seam is smoother for a superior exterior look and reduces sharp burrs of the interior lining.

The rust inhibitor lining slows down the formation of rust, not intended to act as a protective lining. Tight Head Steel Pails are used for chemicals, paintings and coatings, adhesives, lubricants, sealers, construction materials, and oils.
