This 3.5-Gallon Gray Tight Head Steel Pail features Buff Epoxy Phenolic lining and is UN Rated to 1A1/Y1.2/300. The 2" & 3/4" drum bung fittings and the Triplex Technology®. This 3.5-Gallon tight head pail weighs 4.09 lbs. and its built-in galvanized handle allows for easy handling. This pail is Made in the USA with the Triplex Technology®. Tight Head pails have strength and durability suitable for use for storage and shipping.

The Triplex Technology® gives the top and bottom seams a stronger, safer triple-seam. This seam has 7 layers of steel versus 5 layers by adding 2 additional wraps of steel. With the use of a new computer-controlled feedback loop welder, the Triplex® weld seam is smoother for a superior exterior look and reduces sharp burrs of the interior lining.

The Buff Epoxy Phenolic lining provides outstanding chemical resistance for products with a pH range of 7.0-9.0 (alkaline). Used to package alkaline products, soaps, infrastructure coatings, emulsions, foods, surfactants, detergents, and water-based resins.
