Mary Dahl Honored as 2016 NACD Hall of Fame Inductee
Mary Dahl, Past President and Member Emeritus of the NACD, was chosen by the Board of Directors in early February to be inducted to the NACD Hall of Fame. She is the first woman in the industry to be recognized. Sadly, Mary passed away on February 12.
Mary joined Cleveland Steel Container in 1992, beginning a stellar career, which included building the company now known as Pipeline Packaging from a small local distributor to a nationally recognized distribution leader with 11 locations nationwide. Mary was named President in 2005. Earning recognition for her business acumen, she served for 12 years on the board of the NACD and was the third elected female president.
At the pinnacle of her career in April 2015 Mary retired from Pipeline Packaging in order to spend full time fighting the cancer that had affected her life for six years.
Mary’s contributions to the distribution channel and packaging industry live on and NACD is proud to honor her and present this prestigious award to her husband, Dan Dahl, in Mary’s memory.
The Hall of Fame award was presented at the NACD Annual Meeting on April 7, 2016 in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
